If you don’t have a church home, we invite you to know Jesus and show Jesus with us at Rushford Lutheran Church.
Family education begins in preschool, and students are encouraged to stay involved as they grow through
confirmation, mission trips, retreats, camps, Bible study, service projects, music, prayer, worship,
and of course some good old-fashioned fun.

A great opportunity to learn more about Jesus with a fun theme changed up each year!

Happenings in Family Education

Classes

Preschool (3 year olds) through 7th grade
September through May
10:15 am until 11:15 am.

Sunday School Schedule & Registration

Classes are offered for students in 8^th and 9^th grade on Wednesday evenings during the school year.

Confirmation Schedule & Registration

God’s gift of the Sacrament of the Altar is offered for students fifth grade and up. Before receiving communion, the student and a parent are asked to attend a four week class held each fall. Dates and times are available through the church office.

Christmas Program
& Parade

The Christmas Program will be held on Sunday, December 22nd at 11 am in the Sanctuary.

We invite family and friends to come and experience the program as we hear the story of Jesus’ birth as told by our students. There will be a meal and Birthday celebration held for Jesus in the Fellowship Hall after the program for all to enjoy.

The Rushford Parade of Lights is held on Saturday, December 14th at 7pm.

The 4th and 5th grade students will ride in the parade and throw candy.

Practice

Christmas Program practice began on November 3rd during the Sunday School hour for the 4th and 5th grade students.
This year’s program will be “According to the Scriptures: A Traditional Christmas Program” written by the Rev. Steven E. King.
Music practice for the program will begin on Sunday, November 24th for the preschool through 5th grade students.
There will be a dress rehearsal held on Saturday, December 14th at 4 pm for the 4th and 5th grade students – prior to the parade.
