Sunday School 2026-2027

Preschool (3 year olds) through 7th grade
September through May
10:15 am until 11:15 am.

All students will report to the church sanctuary at 10:15 am for announcements, music, and prayer. They will be dismissed back to their classrooms at 10:30 am.

2026-2027 Schedule

Please keep in mind, events may change or we may add in more throughout the year. Whenever these changes take place, Brittany will communicate them to you.

September

2nd – Confirmation sign up meeting at 6 P.M.
13th – Rally Sunday: Preschool students will receive their Bibles
27th – 4th Grade students will receive their Study Bibles at the 9:15 A.M. church service

October

4th – Pastor Appreciation Sunday
4th – 5th Grade First Communion at the 9:15 A.M. church service
4th – Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
11th – 2nd Grade Students will receive their Small Catechism at the 9:15 A.M. church service
18th – Preschool through 5 Grade Students Sing at the 9:15 AM Church Service
25th – Harvest Party for all Grades during the Sunday School hour.

November

8th – P3-1st & 5th Grade – Ornament Making
8th – 2 – 4 Grade – Decorate a Christmas Tree at RLC
8th – 6th and 7th Grade students will shop for SEMCAC Families from tags off the Christmas tree. This will begin during the Sunday School hour.
15th – Preschool through 5 Grade Students Sing at the 9:15 AM Church Service
15th – Christmas Program Practice Begins

December

12th – Dress Rehearsal for the 4th and 5^th Grade students; Parade of Lights
13th – Christmas Program Rehearsal for all grades during the Sunday School hour.
20th – Christmas Program at 11 A.M. in the sanctuary
27th – No Sunday School

January

3rd – Sunday School Resumes
17th – Preschool through 5 Grade Students Sing at the 9:15 AM Church Service
31st – 1 – 7th Grade: Camp Sunday

February

7th – Decorate Valentines Day Cards for the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home residents during the Sunday School hour.
14th – Soup-er Bowl of Caring – donations go towards our local food shelf. Students can wear their favorite jersey to Sunday School.
14th – Adopt-A-Grandparent: K-2nd Grade
21st – Preschool through 5 Grade Students Sing at the 9:15 AM Church Service

March

21st – Palm Sunday – Preschool through 5^th Grade will have a Palm Branch Processional at the 9:15 A.M. church service
21st – Sunday School Easter Celebration during the Sunday School hour
28th – Easter Sunday – No Sunday School

April

11th – P3 & P4 Students will shop for SEMCAC Food Shelf during the Sunday School hour
18th – Preschool through 5 Grade Students Sing at the 9:15 A.M. Church Service
25th – Mother’s & Father’s Day Crafts during the Sunday School hour
25th – Confirmation Sunday – 2 P.M. Church Service

May

9th – Preschool through 5 Grade Students Sing at the 9:15 A.M. Church Service; Sunday School students recite their Memory Work for the year and lead the 9:15 A.M. Church Service
9th – Last Day of Sunday School
23rd – Graduate Recognition – Breakfast at 8 A.M. and Recognition at the 9:15 A.M. church service
