Sunday School 2025-2026

Preschool (3 year olds) through 7th grade
September through May
10:15 am until 11:15 am.

All students will report to the church sanctuary at 10:15 am for announcements, music, and prayer. They will be dismissed back to their classrooms at 10:30 am.

2025-2026 Schedule

Please keep in mind, events may change or we may add in more throughout the year. Whenever these changes take place, Brittany will communicate them to you.

September

3rd – Confirmation sign up meeting at 6 P.M.
7th – Rally Sunday: Preschool students will receive their Bibles
28th – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing at the 9:15 A.M. church service
28th – Service Project – Neighborhood Clean Up during the Sunday School hour.

October

5th – Pastor Appreciation Sunday
5th – 5th Grade First Communion at the 9:15 A.M. church service
12th – 2nd-4th Grade Students will receive their Small Catechism at the 9:15 A.M. church service
26th – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing at the 9:15 A.M. church service;
26th – Harvest Party for all Grades during the Sunday School hour.

November

2nd – Christmas Program Practice Begin
16th – 6th and 7th Grade students will shop for SEMCAC Families from tags off the Christmas tree. This will begin during the Sunday School hour.
23rd – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing at the 9:15 A.M. church service
23rd – 2nd – 3rd Grade students will decorate a Christmas tree at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home during the Sunday School hour.

December

13th – Dress Rehearsal for the 4th and 5^th Grade students; Parade of Lights
21st – Christmas Program at 11 A.M. in the sanctuary
28th – No Sunday School

January

4th – Sunday School Resumes
25th – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing at the 9:15 A.M. church service

February

1st – Decorate Valentines Day Cards for the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home residents during the Sunday School hour.
8th – Soup-er Bowl of Caring – donations go towards our local food shelf. Students can wear their favorite jersey to Sunday School.
22nd – Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
22nd – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing and the Preschool students will recite the Lord’s Prayer at the 9:15 A.M. church service.

March

8th – The 6th and 7th Grade students will recite the beatitudes at the 9:15 A.M. church service.
22nd – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing and the 4th and 5th grade students will recite the Books of the Bible at the 9:15 am church service.
22nd – Preschool students shop for the local food shelf during the Sunday School hour
22nd – Camp Sunday
29th – Palm Sunday – Preschool through 5^th Grade will have a Palm Branch Processional at the 9:15 A.M. church service
29th – Sunday School Easter Celebration during the Sunday School hour

April

5th – Easter Sunday – No Sunday School
12th – the 2nd and 3rd Grade students will recite the 10 Commandments at the 9:15 A.M. church service
26th – Kindergarten through 1st Grade recite the 23 Psalm at the 9:15 am church service.
26th – Confirmation Sunday – 2 P.M. Church Service

May

3rd – Mother’s Day Craft Day during the Sunday School hour
10th – Preschool through 5th Grade Sing. The 2nd through 7th Grade students will recite the Apostles Creed at the 9:15 A.M. church service
10th – Last Day of Sunday School
17th – Graduate Recognition – Breakfast at 8 A.M. and Recognition at the 9:15 A.M. church service
