Archery for Youth Group – July 12
The RLC Teen Archery Rendezvous for students entering grades 7 and up will take place at the Rooster Valley Ranch (Scott & Pam Nielsen’s house) on Sunday July 12th. Bows and arrows will be supplied, and safe instruction from experts will be provided. Pizza and sodas will be provided. Novice shooters are welcome and invited to the joy of target shooting.

School of Rock Praise Camp – July 13-15
Students entering grades 3-12 who would like to get involved in music ministry at RLC are invited to attend this FREE workshop led by the RLC Youth Praise Team and friends. Plan to rock at RLC between 2:00-4:00 PM on the dates provided.  Sign up here 

Youth Staycation Mission Festival July 21-24
For students entering grades 7th & up. Instead of a cross-country mission trip, this summer we will be staying right here at home and serving our neighbors on this FREE & LOCAL mission trip! Students will work alongside organizations such as SEMCAC and Good Shepherd, and get to sleep in their own beds at night. You’ll get a whole ton of silver cord hours in just four days!  Sign up required and sent via email from Kristin.

RLC Youth @ Ronald McDonald House – July 26
An opportunity for a maximum of 10 students. Drivers/adult helpers needed as well. We will prepare a meal beginning at 4:00 PM in Rochester for between 50-80 people who are staying at the RMDH while their children receive medical treatment. Youth Summer-ween Skate – July 31
Fun activity at High Roller Skating Center. Dress up in full costume for free admission! Otherwise it will cost $3/person. Meet at RLC at 3:15 PM to head to LaCrosse. Should be home around 9:15.

Bible Camp Scholarship Funds Available

To facilitate the spiritual growth of our students, Rushford Lutheran Church encourages student members to participate in a Christ-centered bible camp during the summer months. Scholarship funds are available to help with the cost. Families will pay the initial registration fee and the church will pay the balance, up to $500. This is limited to a maximum of $500 per student per year.

Grief Share Support Group

Grief Share is a support group is for anyone grieving the loss of someone dear to them. This 11-week seminar runs on Tuesday evenings March 3 – May 12, from 6:00-7:30 pm. New Council Members Approved

Congratulations to our new Church Council members, Anna Bernard and Curtis Paulson, who were nominated and approved at the annual meeting held on February 8, 2026. We want to thank our outgoing members, Amy Luhmann and Jim Bernier for their years of service.

January and February Events

Good Shepherd Birthday Party – Monday, January 5th at 2:00 pm. Driftless Revival will provide music. All are invited.

Soup and Song Fundraiser – January 11, more information coming.

Eagles Cancer Telethon Performance – January 18 – The Darr Family Band will perform at 5:00 am followed by the Adult and Youth Praise Teams at 5:30 and 6:30 am. This will be televised on KTTC.

Sunday School Choir (grades pre-K – 5) will be singing on January 25th at the 9:15 am service.

Valentine’s Day Decorating – February 1 – Children’s Sunday School will be decorating cards for residents at Good Shepherd.

Souper Bowl of Caring – Sunday, February 8th, wear your favorite team jersey and bring donations for our local Food Shelf

RLC Annual Meeting – February 8th at 11:00 am in the church basement.

Annual Pancake Breakfast – February 22, put on by the confirmation students.
